An easy way to prepare steak and potatoes for hearty meal.
Steak and Loaded Potatoes
Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 large onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup beef broth
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon pepper
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup sour cream
Directions
In crock pot, layer the potatoes, onions and garlic. Place the steak slices on top. Pour the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the ingredients. Sprinkle with paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6, until the steak is tender and the potatoes are soft. Stir gently halfway through cooking.
During the last 30 minutes of cooking, sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the top of the dish. Cover and let the cheese melt. Once the cooking is complete, stir in half of the crumbled bacon
Ladle the steak and potato bake into bowls. Top each serving with a dollop of sour cream, the remaining bacon and additional cheese.
